Adult animated series rarely risk serialized, pitch-black premises where the protagonist remains entirely unaware of the show's actual plot. Captain Fall attempted that exact balancing act, and its success relied on Lesley-Ann Brandt’s grounded, menacing vocal work. Without Liza running the ship with ruthless efficiency, the show's dark satire would have drifted into pure absurdity. Her work stands as an exceptional showcase of voice acting, reminding animation fans that the best villains are the ones who treat villainy like overtime at the office.
