What Is Reborn as a Legend: the Plant Chronicles? Inside the Web's Newest Fantasy Obsession
By Sophia Al-Mansoor
Tracking serialized web novels requires knowing where independent authors host their content. As of mid-2026, readers have several distinct paths to access the story depending on how fast they read:
The primary public backlog lives on serialized fiction aggregators like Royal Road and Scribble Hub. These platforms offer free access supported by site advertisements and reader donations. Public releases typically drop three to four times a week, complete with active chapter-by-chapter comment sections where the author interacts with fan feedback.
For readers who want immediate access to future storylines, the author's Patreon offers advance tiers. Backers paying between $5 and $10 per month can access anywhere from ten to twenty advance chapters ahead of the public release schedule. Periodic volume compilations, cleaned up with professional copyedits and bonus side stories, are also migrating to Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, providing clean offline reading on e-readers and mobile devices.
