Inside the Marcus Majestic Experience: Premium Ultrascreen Dlx, Recliners, and Full in-Seat Dining Reviewed
Marcus Majestic Brookfield opened in 2007 on Springdale Road as an ambitious, castle-like entertainment anchor. It featured 16 screens, grand architectural arches, and high-volume concession stands. When theater admissions flattened nationwide in the mid-2010s, parent company The Marcus Corporation poured capital into remodeling its portfolio. Brookfield received the brunt of that investment.
The theater converted standard high-capacity rooms into low-density luxury spaces. Row counts were slashed by nearly 50% to accommodate massive motorized loungers. Concession areas expanded beyond standard popcorn warmers to include commercial kitchen spaces capable of serving hand-stretched pizzas, craft burgers, and specialty appetizers. Marcus Majestic was transformed from a run-of-the-mill suburban theater into a regional showcase where corporate debuts its newest seat designs, audio configurations, and food programs.
