Who Is Drake Von Leo Levine? the Identity Behind Diplo's Viral Nye Video
By Marcus Vance
Q1: Was Diplo one of the three men kissing in the video?
A1: No. Diplo held the camera and recorded the scene from a close vantage point. The caption "Me at midnight" functioned as a humorous meme format rather than a literal depiction of his own presence in the three-way kiss.
Q2: How was Drake von Leo Levine identified from the footage?
A2: Digital sleuths on TikTok and X matched distinctive physical traits, including facial structure, hair styling, and accessories, with concurrent New Year's Eve party posts, cross-referencing guest lists and social tags from related VIP events.
Q3: Did Drake von Leo Levine or Diplo release a formal statement?
A3: Neither party issued a traditional press release. Both leaned into the casual, ephemeral nature of the post, allowing media outlets such as Gayety and Out Magazine to report on the public spectacle without offering formal corporate clarifications.
