Where to Find Tampons and Pads in the Sims 4: in-Game Menus and Inventory Guide
By Marcus Vance
Can I buy tampons in The Sims 4 without downloading custom content or mods?
No. Maxis has never implemented biological menstruation into base gameplay or official expansion packs. You must install a community mod like WonderfulWhims to enable the items and mechanics.
Why does the "Order Supplies" option not appear on my computer?
This happens if script mods are disabled in your Game Options menu, or if your mod file sits more than one subfolder deep in your Mods directory. Confirm that "Script Mods Allowed" is checked under Game Options > Other, restart your game, and ensure the mod files are updated for the latest game patch.
What is the difference between using pads versus tampons in the mod?
Tampons let Sims swim and exercise without hygiene decay penalties during their cycle, but carrying them too long can cause discomfort. Pads last slightly longer during typical low-activity routines but do not protect hygiene ratings during pool activities.
