Pretty Little Liars Cast Reunion Breakdown: Who Showed Up, Who Was Missing, and What Aria Is Doing Next
By Alexander Ross
Rumors of a full-scale television reunion movie have circulated ever since HBO Max attempted its separate franchise expansion with Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. While the spinoff series acknowledged the original characters through Easter eggs, viewers have consistently asked for a direct return to the surviving Liars.
Industry insiders note that coordinating the schedules of the five original stars remains the biggest hurdle for Warner Bros. Television. Hale is balancing an active feature slate, Mitchell is running a multinational brand, and Bellisario is actively building a career as an episodic director.
The upcoming Hale-Harding holiday film acts as an informal trial run. If their screen reunion delivers strong viewership and high social engagement, network executives may find the necessary commercial motivation to finance a scripted, canonical reunion film for the Rosewood group. Until then, fans are turning to individual collaborations, podcasts, and digital reunions to stay connected with the characters.
