'Predador De Perereca' English Translation: Why Tiktok Users Are Stunned by the Nsfw Lyrics
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
What does "Predador de Perereca" mean in English?
Literally, the phrase translates to "Tree Frog Predator." In Brazilian Portuguese, however, "perereca" is widespread street slang for female genitalia, making the actual meaning "Pussy Predator" or an aggressive pursuer of women.
Is the song an authentic Brazilian funk track or AI-generated?
Digital culture trackers trace the viral version to AI-assisted audio generators popular in 2025, which paired synthetic, explicit Portuguese vocal tracks with Brazilian phonk and funk mandelão production styles.
Why are TikTok creators filming shocked reactions to the song?
Thousands of creators initially used the track for fitness, gaming, and dance videos based solely on its energetic beat. Once Brazilian viewers informed them that the lyrics were intensely explicit and NSFW, creators began filming their genuine reactions to reading the English translations on camera.
Is the song banned on TikTok?
While several original sound uploads have been muted or flagged for community guidelines violations due to explicit sexual language, remixes and sped-up audio cuts continue to circulate across the platform.
