Lil Tay's Viral Rant Against Bhad Bhabie: Fact-Checking the Clips and Online Claims
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
The rivalry between Lil Tay and Bhad Bhabie dates back to 2018 outside a Los Angeles venue, where a confrontation involving Woah Vicky, Bregoli, and Tay cemented their positions in viral hip-hop culture. For five years, the narrative went dormant as Hope disappeared behind closed legal doors in Vancouver, fighting custody and conservatorship disputes. When she regained control of her digital presence, she immediately revived the feud to announce her return.
During an unhinged broadcast that drew hundreds of thousands of concurrent viewers, Hope stared directly into the phone camera, unleashing a monologue that dismantled any pretense of polite reconciliation. She ridiculed Bregoli's music career, her financial claims, and most sharply, her anatomy. Hope repeatedly accused Bregoli of purchasing her physique, calling out her waist-to-hip proportions with coarse language. The rant was raw, high-tempo, and engineered for short-form clips. Screen recorders clipped the footage instantly, pushing phrases like "Lil Tay exposes Bhad Bhabie" to the top of platform search bars.
