Jaime Jaquez Jr. Engaged: Full Timeline from Draft Night Chaos to La Proposal
By Alexander Ross
Everything changed on June 22, 2023. When NBA Commissioner Adam Silver stepped to the podium at Barclays Center and announced Jaquez as the 18th overall pick for the Miami Heat, television cameras panned directly to Table 4 in the green room. Sitting alongside his parents and siblings was Kline, dressed in understated elegance, sharing a tearful embrace with the newly minted pro before he walked up to collect his Heat cap.
Within minutes, NBA Twitter and Instagram communities exploded with queries regarding the young woman by his side.
