Is Song Weilong Taken? the Ultimate Guide to the C-Drama Heartthrob's Romantic Life
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Song Weilong's celebrity dating history contains only one publicly verified chapter: his brief connection with actress Jelly Lin Yun. The two met while filming the melodrama Beautiful Reborn Flower in 2017, where their on-set dynamic spilled into real life.
In late 2017, entertainment reporters circulated street-side paparazzi dating photos showing the young performers embracing and sharing a kiss while wearing face masks. Rather than dismissing the incident, both management camps took the unusual step of releasing a structured agency official statement on the exact same day.
The joint clarification established a clear record: the two had developed romantic feelings during production and attempted to date, but differing schedules and youth led them to end the relationship amicably before the photos surfaced. By addressing the situation cleanly, both camps protected the rising stars from protracted tabloid harassment. Lin Yun remains Song Weilong's only officially acknowledged ex-girlfriend in public industry archives.
