Inside the New Ffxiv Online Store Emotes: Blow Bubbles and Tonberry Sets
By David Miller
Purchasing optional cosmetics requires navigating the store's dual licensing models. Some items apply across every character linked to a service account, while others bind permanently to a single avatar chosen at checkout.

Single-character items like Bubbly Diversions and the Tonberry set are dispatched via the in-game Moogle Delivery Service. Delivery times usually range from a few seconds to an hour, though high-traffic patch days can create backlogs. Players maintaining multiple alternate characters must weigh whether buying an emote once justifies missing it on secondary jobs across other data centers.
