From 'Surprise Motherf***Er' to Tiktok Stardom: the Sgt. Doakes Meme Evolution
By Alexander Ross
James Doakes has outlasted hundreds of flashier television characters because his defining trait, unyielding, zero-tolerance intuition, is rare both on screen and on the timeline. He did not need a lab full of blood spatter simulations to spot a predator. He simply watched how a person walked through a room and trusted his gut.
As long as people use social media to vent about corporate double-talk, false promises, and bad behavior hiding behind polished smiles, Erik King's glaring eyes will remain on standby. The internet will keep editing Doakes into the frame, arms crossed, waiting for the guilty to slip up.
