First Look Inside Pink Tiger: the Wharf's Sizzling Retro-Glam Dining Space
Crossing the threshold reveals an interior design designed to contrast sharply with the maritime scenery outside. Deep magenta banquettes line the perimeter, trimmed in polished brass rods that catch the low amber glow of bespoke fringed table lamps. The centerpiece is a substantial wrap-around bar faced with fluted pink marble and topped with dark quartzite, mirrored by custom overhead shelving holding hundreds of specialty spirits.
Design teams leaned into tactile maximalism. Tiger-striped wallpaper covers accent alcoves, while emerald green palm motifs frame the private dining corridors toward the back of the house. Large-scale structural columns, previously raw concrete, now wear ribbed walnut paneling. Despite the nostalgic disco-era styling, the 20-foot floor-to-ceiling glass frontage preserves sweeping views of yachts docked at the marina, grounding the theatrical interior in its District setting.
