First Look at Season 4: Nicole Scherzinger Stuns in 'Crazy in Love' Premiere Photos
By Alexander Ross
Showrunners Robert and Michelle King built their reputation on casting elite theater and television heavyweights in guest roles, and Season 4 accelerates that tradition. Beside Scherzinger's opening salvo, the upcoming slate incorporates acclaimed comedic performers and dramatic veterans across various New York subcultures.
| Guest Star | Confirmed Project Arc | Dramatic Dynamic |
|---|---|---|
| Nicole Scherzinger | Season 4 Premiere ("Crazy in Love") | High-society foil navigating an elite Manhattan murder investigation |
| Lea Michele | Early Season 4 Guest Arc | Competitive professional entangled in an exacting cultural controversy |
| Sam Richardson | Episodic Spotlight | Quirky suspect matching Elsbeth’s intellectual speed with offbeat logic |
| Nat Faxon | Mid-Season Case | Wealthy opportunist caught in financial deceit and forensic traps |
| Gloria Reuben | Recurring Guest Arc | Authoritative institutional figure challenging Elsbeth’s investigative jurisdiction |
The additions of Lea Michele, Sam Richardson, and Nat Faxon supply diverse tones to the series. Richardson brings razor-sharp comedic timing that can match Preston's improvisational energy beat for beat. Meanwhile, Gloria Reuben offers grounded gravitas, preventing the series from sliding into light parody and anchoring the procedural elements firmly within New York's legal ecosystem.
