The standalone Ash of War: Prelate's Charge is locked away in the Mountaintops of the Giants. You cannot reach this region until you defeat Morgott the Omen King in Leyndell and activate the Grand Lift of Rold using the Rold Medallion.

Once you reach the frozen heights, ride northeast across the narrow, chain-linked chasms until you uncover the Whiteridge Road Site of Grace. From this checkpoint, the imposing walls of the Guardians' Garrison loom to the north. Do not charge straight through the fortress gates if your sole objective is the skill. Instead, turn your mount slightly south-southeast toward the snowbank rim overlooking the trench below the fortress walls.

Scout the bare, twisted trees jutting out over the ravine. A red Teardrop Scarab hangs suspended from one of the thick branches. Because it hangs out of reach of ordinary melee swings, you must bring a ranged option. A single arrow, bolt, Glintstone Pebble, or Kukri toss will dislodge the creature. Once struck, the scarab plummets to the snowy floor below or dies instantly, granting Ash of War: Prelate's Charge directly into your inventory. If you knock it down without killing it, drop down carefully to finish it before it burrows into the snow.
