Everything you need to know about Everything You Need to Know About Aisha Tyler's Career, Roles, and Vision, including essential background.

Tyler's vocal performance as secret agent Lana Kane in FX's animated series Archer transformed her into an animation icon. Beginning in 2009 and spanning 14 seasons, Lana served as the hyper-competent, exasperated moral center of the chaotic espionage satire. Tyler gave Lana a biting, authoritative gravitas punctuated by her trademark battle cry, turning the character into one of adult animation's most memorable leads.

While Archer dominated cable animation, Tyler joined CBS's procedural giant Criminal Minds in 2015 as Dr. Tara Lewis, a forensic psychologist tasked with interviewing serial killers to determine their fitness for trial. What began as a recurring arc turned into a permanent series lead. Tyler carried Dr. Lewis into the streaming era with Paramount+'s revival series, Criminal Minds: Evolution, grounding the character in procedural realism and forensic psychology. During this exact operational window, she sat at the co-hosting table for CBS's daytime chat show The Talk, earning four Daytime Emmy nominations and taking home the award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host in 2017.
