Constance Goble's Children Explained: Everything Known About Her Surviving Heirs
By Sarah Jenkins
Today, the descendants of the Goble family, spanning grandchildren and great-grandchildren, help manage an extraordinary educational trust. Rather than seeking individual celebrity, Constance Goble Garcia’s children and their cousins channel public interest toward youth STEM programming.
They collaborate on university scholarship endowments, participate in historical preservation projects with the Virginia Air and Space Science Center, and verify archival materials donated to institutions like the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. For the heirs, the mathematics work carried out at Langley was not an abstract cinematic plot. It was the daily labor that put food on their family table during difficult times.
The Garcia descendants keep their personal lives grounded in the mid-Atlantic region. Their approach mirrors the philosophy Katherine Johnson instilled in all three of her girls: do your work with excellence, stay humble, and let the integrity of your effort speak for itself.
