Chandler Kinney Dating Rumors Surge After 'Off Campus' Dream Casting Reveal
By Sarah Jenkins
Before the Off Campus fan campaign took flight, search interest regarding Kinney's dating life surged dramatically during her run on Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars in late 2024. Partnered with professional dancer Brandon Armstrong, Kinney delivered consistently dazzling performances that scored at the top of the judges' leaderboard week after week.
The natural intimacy of ballroom dance routinely fuels rumors of off-camera sparks between competing pairs. As their competitive scores rose, social media platforms flooded with theories about their connection outside the rehearsal room.
Kinney and Armstrong moved swiftly to extinguish the rumor mill. In a joint November 2024 interview with Yahoo, both performers addressed the chatter head-on, noting that their connection was anchored entirely in professional respect and competitive discipline. Armstrong, who married his wife Brylee Ivers in 2022, emphasized the supportive nature of the rehearsal environment, while Kinney pointed out that creative trust should not automatically be mistaken for private romance.
