By Elena Rostova
Q1: How many nominations did Rhea Seehorn have before winning this Emmy?
Seehorn was previously nominated twice for her role as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul (in 2022 and 2023) and earned an additional nod for the short-form comedy series Cooper's Bar, making this her fourth overall nomination and first win.
Q2: How many total Emmys did Pluribus take home in 2026?
Pluribus won six Emmys during the 2026 awards cycle: five technical and craft categories during the Creative Arts Emmys, alongside Seehorn’s Outstanding Lead Actress trophy on the main telecast.
Q3: Why didn’t Pluribus win Best Drama Series if it swept six major awards?
The Television Academy frequently splits its top drama prize from acting accolades. The Pitt captured Best Drama Series due to strong support for its large ensemble cast and high-stakes medical realism, while voters singled out Pluribus for specific performance, writing, and technical excellence.
